There are many different things
which can affect your credit rating and mean you develop a poor
credit history.
Any or all of the following can
lead to you having poor credit: missed or late payments on store
cards or credit cards, disputed bills, CCJs, an IVA, arrears on a
secured loan or mortgage, falling behind with finance payments on a
personal loan, a poor payment record on a hire purchase agreement.
Fortunately, there are an
increasing number of finance lenders who go out of their way to try
to help people with poor credit obtain further finance. Rather than
using simple credit scoring procedures, they will look at each case
on its own merits. |
